  • Chris Tudor

    Chris is a 30+ year South Burlington resident and comes from a long tennis and USTA background.

    He has played pickleball for 8 years and instructed for 5. He is a PPR Certified Coach trained by Pro Sarah Ansboury.

    Chris has instructed many players through local Recreation and Parks Departments such as Burlington, SOBU, Stowe, and Essex Junction in recent years.

  • Theresa "Tree" Bertram!

    Tree has played pickleball for more than 15 years and also played tennis in ALTA and USTA leagues for 10 years. She is a 4.66 DUPR rated player who’s worked with Gigi LeMaster, Nicole Havlicek, Morgan Evans, Lee Whitwell and others to hone on her skills. Having played in many clinics, camps and tournaments across the country, she brings her experience and capabilities to her students. She provides positive coaching and the needed technical and tactical skills to improve their play.

    Tree has a competitive sports background, starting with track and field, cross country, tennis and rugby.  She ran on scholarship for Georgia State University and then transitioned to Rugby where she played for two clubs before finishing her career on the USA national team. After retiring from playing, she became a certified coach for high school, college and club rugby teams.   

    Tree fell in love with pickleball from the moment she picked up a paddle. Her enthusiasm and love of the game along with her prior coaching experience has inspired her to share this wonderful sport within our community. She looks forward to working with players at all levels from social players to competitive tournament players, helping them take their game to the next level.s here

  • Justin Schaaf

    Born and raised VT local, Justin received his PPR certification in August of 2023 in Greenwich, CT after playing for 4 years.

    Justin is a proud member of UMICH’s Michigan Pickleball Club, where he competed in the DUPR Collegiate Nationals in its first inaugural year.

    Justin enjoys introducing new players to the sport, and working with intermediate players to polish their skills and mid-game decision making

  • Mary Beth Morrisseau

    A trainer in her previous employment life, Mary Beth knew she wanted to teach pickleball. In October 2023 she attended the PPR Professional Pickleball Registry center in Massachusetts (the official education and certification partner of USA pickleball).

    Since then she has been teaching in both Vermont and Florida, as well as playing in an advanced 4.0-4.5 league and in tournament play.

    Mary Beth is a member of USA Pickleball, PPR, the Senior Pickleball Association, the Commons Club in Bonita Springs, and Catamount Pickleball in South Burlington Vermont.

  • Corey Gottfried

    Corey Gottfried has been playing pickleball since 2014 and is proud of the gold medal he was awarded during the 2023 Senior Games in the 4.0+ mixed doubles, 65+ years of age division.

    He started teaching “Intro to Pickleball” clinics through an assortment of Chittenden County Parks & Recreation departments in 2016 and has expanded his programs to include “Pickleball 101”, “Pickleball 102”, “Scrimmage & Learn”, “Intro to Pickleball for Teens” and coaching smaller group sessions.

    Corey is also an entertainer with LinCo Entertainment as a singer, musician, and DJ entertainer.
